The story of the American Institute of Physics, 1967-1987.

This volume is a continuation of the history of the American Institute of Physics covering Koch's tenure as director during the years 1967-1987. The story of the first quarter century of AIP was covered in an article by Harry A. Barton published in Physics Today (Volume 9, Number 1, pages 56-66, January 1956). Elmer Hutchisson also composed a draft history titled "The Story of the American Institute of Physics, 1956-1966" (IH4088).
